Released by Domino in June 2016 as part of their reissue of Quasi's back catalogue, Transmogrification the band's debut record has sat in the bins and watched while it's younger more polished siblings have been snaffled up by fans of late 90s US underground indie.

Quasi's indie credentials are impeccable (husband and wife team Janet Weiss played drums for Sleater Kinney, Sam Coomes was a member of Elliott Smith's band) and this debut LP is stuffed full of hooks, 'experimental' feedback and 'look what I found in the thrift store' cheepy cheep bleep bleep lo fi keyboard skirmishes.

For fans of Stephen Malkmus, Yo La Tengo, Viva Voce, Chad Van Gaalen, Parquet Courts, Goat Girl, Daniel Johnson, Lou Barlow, Pottery etc
